Team & Opportunities
Meet our team members!

Growing up in small-town Powell River, Stephan played soccer, ran track, and explored the outdoors. He completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Physical Education and Health Studies at Queen's University in Kingston Ontario. After graduation, Stephan worked as a Kinesiologist with Restore Human in a boutique fitness studio in the heart of Point Grey, Vancouver, the process of guiding his clients from pain to performance that inspired him to pursue a physiotherapy. Stephan studied his Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy in England at Brunel University London. Stephan’s treatment philosophy focuses on his patients needing not only to treated, but also heard. It is for this reason he elected to complete his Master's thesis on Motivational Interviewing. Through empathetic listening, he can guide his patients through both the mental and physical barriers towards their goals. Altogether, Stephan wishes to help his fellow locals get back to enjoying an improved Quality of Life that Powell River has to offer.

Kylee graduated from UBC-Okanagan in 2018 with a degree in Human Kinetics, specializing in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Throughout her degree she gained work experience teaching spin and strength training classes, personal training, and working as a trip leader helping people with disabilities hike, bike, and kayak. As well as doing an internship under a Strength and Conditioning Coach, gaining experience training amateur and professional athletes. After finishing school she continued working with athletes and general fitness clients, as well as gaining new experience working for a cardiac rehabilitation clinic and with clients who have been in motor vehicle accidents. Kylee then decided to move to Vancouver Island to work in Occupational Rehabilitation programs full time as well as continuing to part time work as a Strength & Conditioning coach for athletes. New to Powell River, Kylee is excited to be offering Kinesiology sessions to aid people in recovering from injuries related to workplace, automobile or other. She loves to spend her free time exploring new areas, finding beaches, or trying new activities that the West Coast lifestyle has to offer. Kylee is eager to help people return to their daily activities through exercise rehabilitation and pain management strategies.
